Why Kale Chips are underrated

There are few worse feelings in the world than hanger.

What’s “hanger”, you may ask? Well, hanger is the delicate blend of hunger and anger, or more specifically, the anger you feel when you’re hungry. Everyone gets a little crabby between meals, and that’s why snacks are so helpful!

Satiating yourself between meals can be a fun way to try new recipes. However, if you’re looking for a simple, healthy snack food to help tide yourself over until dinner I’ve got two words for you: Kale Chips.

Never made them before? I’m not surprised! It’s not common that I find someone who makes his or her own kale chips at home.

Here’s why I think kale chips are criminally underrated:

* They’re so simple: All you need to do to make your first batch is slice up some kale and put it on a pan, drizzle some olive oil and sprinkle sea salt on top, and toss the pan in the oven at 350 degrees for 10-13 minutes.

* They’re so nourishing: With kale chips, you get a serving of vegetables in such a delicious form – chip!

* They’re versatile: The best thing about kale chips is that you can customize their flavour to meet your preferences. Are you a fan of a certain spice? Sprinkle it on top of your kale before baking!
