Types of Meditation to Try

You may have noticed that there’s been a heavy thematic focus on meditation this month on the blog! With students coming up to me more and more asking for longer savasanas, and the warmer weather causing me to feel more mindful as I take evening strolls, it’s simply just been on my mind!

For those new to meditation, there are a variety of styles you can try to get started that aren’t only about sitting on a throw cushion and trying to turn your thoughts off. Here are a few types that you can try to welcome the peace that comes with meditation into your life:

2. Mindfulness

3. Breathing awareness

4. Kundalini yoga

5. Transcendental

6. Tai Chi (moving meditation!)
