Welcome to my Blog!

Welcome to my blog!  My name is Heather and I am a wife, mother, office manager, yoga and pilates teacher.  And a vegan.  I was 50 when I started practicing yoga, I became a yoga teacher at 52 and a pilates teacher at 53.  With the abundance of beautiful, young yogis in downtown Toronto, I am grateful for my wonderful teaching gigs.  And I’ve kept my day job. On a freezing cold day at the beginning of 2015 I realized that when I was not working or teaching, I was hibernating.  On the couch, under a blanket, eating vegan marshmallows and dark chocolate.  Really good vegan dark chocolate, but still hibernating, and waiting for a chance to leave the cave. So I made up my mind to take back my life, embrace moving and clean, vegan eating.  And I want to share it with you, so Yougista was created.   You are welcome to join me on the journey.
